Sunday Summary
Posted on March 9, 2015
This week’s training have been glorious, I just released the following video which combines a session I did with my brother the other week and my session yesterday. Yesterday’s session is at the end of the video and consisted of 3 sets on 230 kg with the repetitions 3, 2, 3. So not a full 3×3 but close enough. My form is constantly under improvement. However, I cannot wait for perfection, if I were to do that I would never get anywhere with anything.
In other news I made some controversial videos last week which I felt had been some time coming. The video I released regarding homosexuality (https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=BzcN6zq6VoM) attracted some very strange comments. I genuinely cannot understand why some people get so upset if someone is gay. Fun thing here also is that the ones who shout the loudest are often the ones who have something to hide.
On the other hand I got criticism from “the other side” (ie a gay guy) saying that I was a hypocrite for wanting to allow straight people to flaunt their sexuality in the public. Important here is to distinguish between sexuality and sex. Although I am no fan of Christian or Victorian sexual morale (ie that sex is something sinful and bad) I am no great proponent for an overly sexualized society either. Sex is nice and natural and should not be anything shameful but should at the same time not be exactly everywhere (as it currently is in the Western society).
Either way to put my thoughts on homosexuality in a brief sentence: Being gay is totally fine and will always be totally fine in my Sweden, what is not acceptable, however, is to propagate for a sexuality via sex (ie Pride parades etc).
The other video of some controversy was regarding Hitler and WWII (https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=u9aNdveldkc). And I can only lament the level of stupidity some people harbour. Adults who actually believe that a war stems out of pure evil without any other cause than that there is a “right” and “wrong” side. My main point with the video was that we should move on and focus on the future of Europe, not was transpired 70 years ago, and regarding aesthetics, there are a lot of very epic things to display outside of the ideologies of the past century!
Lastly I also want to give a little schedule in regards to my let’s plays. I have been gifted a good amounts of games on Steam, for which I am thoroughly thankful, really heartfelt gifts by true friends ❤ !
Dying Light
Attila
Mount and Blade
The Witcher 2
So this week will contain some let’s plays and also some books recommendations! Stay tuned!
Xoxo
Sunday Summary
Posted on March 2, 2015
This is actually written on Monday the 2nd of March! The reason for that was yesterday was a rather hectic one. First of all I commenced an epic deadlifting session. I had a rest day during the Saturday, playing Settlers of Catan with true friends and eating quite the amount of calories. This was in accord my plan to have a good session on the Sunday. I started the session with a really heavy 3 in the bench on 150 kg (should not have been that heavy), then I decided to leave the bench until today and go for the deadlifts instead. Earlier in the week I did the following session:
Which was 3×3 on 220 kg, and the session yesterday was 3×3 on 225 kg (with the last set without straps but with a mixed grip). I dedicated the video to Hephaistion who was Alexander the Great’s main man, he was portrayed in the Alexander film (2004) like a total beta, and that is just as historically inaccurate as it gets.
Either way my plan now to get to 260- or 270 kg in the deadlift is to go with these sessions of 3×3. So the next time, depending on how the form of the day is, will be either 230 kg or 235 kg. And after completing those sessions I should have 260 kg. I have already taken 252,5 kg so the leap is not that great actually. It mainly feels like I am still regaining strength (why it is going so fast). It will be fun to see how far I can get in this endeavour. The thing here is that my deadlift progression has been rather horrible over the years (with 230 kg autumn 2012) so I said to myself that it was not worthy of me and decided to do something about it.
In other political news here in Sweden it was with great joy that the Sweden Democrats in the city of Stockholm elected William Hahne as new chairman after quite some drama over the night (and a lot of drama in the recent time). The Stockholm district has always been a weak point for the party but I have full trust in that William and the newly elected people will turn that trend around. He is indeed a name to look out for in the coming time and on behalf of all true friends and Latsbrothers I wish him the best of luck!
Speaking of Latsbrothers, there is now two official true friend Instagram hashtags, which are #legiogloria and #latsbrothers. You can also tag me in your pictures if have have posted something epic or glorious @latsbrah. It can be fun for me and true friends to check on the progress on other true friends, or just random cool pictures! I have been a bit sceptic to having hashtags because they have a tendency to be so unoriginal and blasphemous, but these hashtags are more to create a sense of community and as a way of communicating! So next time you take a cool picture or something make sure to tag with #latsbrothers and #legiogloria!
Some final words about yesterday’s Twitch. It was a really glorious stream, I gamed for almost 4 hours but it only felt like 1 to be honest! The picture above is from a battle with our Saxons! I must yet again say that I am really impressed by Attila, certainly one of the best games I’ve ever played, extremely immersive!
I will try to stream on Fridays and Sundays (as voted by you who tuned in yesterday).
Videos for the coming week will include Gains Kitchen, VLOG, Attila, some political/philosophical videos and of course Wednesday Q&As! I also might write a longer post serving as a general guise towards my glorious views of things (like a manifesto).
Christianity, Paganism and Roman Heritage
Posted on February 27, 2015
Christianity is indeed a very interesting topic to discuss, and you have often seen me utilizing Christian aesthetics, such as my Cross next to the Hammer of Thor.
The Roman heritage still lives among us, after all my very name, Marcus, is of Roman origin.
However, I am neither Christian nor Roman. In fact I am not even baptised and religion has never been a prevalent part of my life. I am not a great proponent of Christian values and morals, I prefer the more glorious and testosteronous teachings of the Pagan Gods. After all, what does best align with our nature; to turn the other cheek or to bring destruction to your enemies with the fury of Thor himself?
So why do I use Christian aesthetics? Because of their value as a part of a European identity. The same reasoning can be applied to the use of Roman or Hellenic aesthetics. Even though I am neither Christian nor Roman, I can still with honour represent the two in a larger European context.
There is no sense in a misplaced sense of jealousy or in inglorious infighting. The time when the Allfather and Jupiter valiantly clashed on the battlefield is over. Now, together with God in Heaven, they look on in disbelief as Mother Evropa is being torn apart by the ill-will and the unnatural desires of those who hate everything glorious and natural in this world.
During the many Islamic invasions of Europe, Christianity has served as a unifying factor. And I dare say that the whole of Europe trembled when the very last of the Roman Empire fell with the mighty walls of Constantinople in the black year of 1453.
We must re-ignite the undying glory of the Allfather and the valour of Mars and the guiding light of God in Heaven and the benevolence of the Goddess of the Earth lest Europe will sink into chaos and mayhem.
