Sunday Summary. Finland’s Independence Day and Swedish Heroism. Islamist Attack in California. Assassin’s Creed Rouge Review
Posted on December 6, 2015
Today is Finland’s independence day and as such we should commemorate those who fought in the Winter War (part of the Second World War). I would say that not only the Finnish people have cause for remembrance but also the Swedish people, and in particular Swedish men. I am not saying this in any attempt to acquire additional glory for myself but rather in the sense that it should serve as an inspiration for myself and for other Swedish men. For those who are unaware almost 9000 Swedish men decided to go over to Finland in order to fight. Now these men were obviously not the only ones who volunteered to fight Communism in the Second World War (large numbers from all over Europe joined the German effort in fighting the Bolsheviks). However, why I mention the Swedish volunteers in particular is because of the foolish notion harboured by lesser men that Sweden’s role in the war was in some way not glorious. Although one should be kind and understanding to these people who just do not know any better it is important to not let their misguided views stand unopposed. The Swedish response then was one I am genuinely proud of (just as I am ashamed of Sweden today), the Swedish state did not order its men to die in a war that wasn’t theirs and yet the opportunity was there for those who wanted to aid against the invasion of Finland, and aid against the greater threat of Communism. Thanks to their bravery and skill Finland remained free from Soviet oppression. That willingness to fight against an anti-European force and to fight for one’s brothers is something that must inspire European men today.
Moreover an attack by Islamists occurred in California during the past week, which sparked discussions regarding gun control. I am personally very pro-guns in the American case, this is due to the fact that the United States is founded upon a principle of liberty (and the right to bear arms is the second amendment in their constitution). This is also a topic which I probably will cover in a coming video as it is an interesting one to discuss. Alas I think it is in order to share one of the most profound arguments for an armed citizenry here as well, and that argument is quite simple in its nature: criminals and terrorists will have the ability to acquire arms regardless of regulations which puts regular citizens at a severe disadvantage.
And for all Americans who are reading these words: Never give up your arms.
I have played through Assassin’s Creed: Rogue and my verdict is the same as with Black Flag: A brilliant game. The only downside is that it was a bit too short, which I suppose in a way speaks well of the game. It takes place during the French and Indian War in the Americas. What makes this game more interesting in my view than any of the others is that you for the first time join the Templars and fight against the Assassins. I suppose most of you who are reading this (and have played any AC game) will agree that the Templars are a bit more righteous than the sometimes SJW-like Assassins, and thus it felt good to fight against them in the game! Another thing I really liked with the game is that the main character is Irish and the name of your ship is (as the picture below reveals) The Morrigan. Morrigan is a figure in Irish mythology. Lastly, Haytham Kenway (pictured above) is present in the game, definitely one of the most glorious characters in the series, you actually play as him in the beginning of Assassin’s Creed 3. And also playing through this game I am glad that I decided to play through Assassin’s Creed 3 to get the whole story as there are a lot of references to AC3 in Rogue.
Lastly I would come with a beard update but since it still hasn’t reached the stage of gloriousness I will leave you with a picture of the beard of Charlemange. Speaking of which I am looking forward to the release of this game very much (it is a DLC to Attila) which will be out in a few days. I will also make a few let’s plays of the game, playing as the Danes (the only Viking faction present) in order to raid England!

Sunday Summary. Turkish-Russian Tensions. Assassin’s Creed: Black Flag Review.
Posted on November 29, 2015
The breaking news of this week has been the Turkish attack upon a Russian fighter jet, I covered this topic in this video (https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=9vpAlvD9_bU). As five days has passed since I, and many with me, have been made aware of some of the ongoings of the Turkish state. Given deeper scrutiny it is obvious that Turkey is a rather corrupt nation, especially in regards to its friends. For anyone who has followed the geopolitical scene of the region for some time you will know that the Kurds have had a long conflict with the state of Turkey. The Kurds are now fighting the Islamic State. Following the reasoning of the enemy of my enemy is my friend it is easy to see why Turkey would take offence towards Russia destroying ISIS. Furthermore it is interesting to note how Turkey have been buying oil from the Islamic State; a partner in crime against the Kurds as well as a lucrative trading partner!
Now, onto the relationship between Turkey and Russia. Given the information above it is easy to understand why Turkey would be hostile towards Russian interference in the region. Moreover it is interesting to take into account the history between the two powerful nations. The featured picture of this article is one from the Crimean War, in which the Turkish side triumphed over the Russian side. The Ottoman Empire did not manage to defeat the Tzar by themselves however, but was supported by an alliance consisting of France, Great Britain and Sardinia. Now, almost 200 years later, Turkey is yet again in a military alliance with France and Great Britain. However the question remains how willing France is to co-operate with Turkey considering its ally (ISIS) committed a horrendous attack in Paris itself just a few weeks back. Should Turkey continue its aggression towards Russia, and continue to deal with ISIS, it will be interesting to see how NATO responds to that, especially France. A final note on ISIS, which may be the cause for some disagreement; even though ISIS was created by NATO as a means to topple Assad it is not the case that USA necessarily must support the terror organisation as it stands at the moment. Seeing it in the long-term, Donald Trump has voiced his support for what Putin is doing in the region, i.e., demolishing ISIS.
Now, onto something less dramatic! I just finished Assassin’s Creed IV: Black Flag. And to summarise the game in one single word: Brilliant. Much better than the third (which I wrote about in last week’s summary). And when comparing the two I understand a bit better why AC3 got a bad reputation.
I really liked the scenery and environment in the game, one tend to miss the warmth of the sun and clear blue waters when in Northern Europe in November, so it was nice to get a dose of that via the game at least! Although perhaps not as satisfying for the lover of history and architecture (in comparison toward’s when you are in Italy and Constantinople), the overall feel of the game was one of the age of exploration, although set a bit later than the hey-day of the Conquistadors you still get to explore ancient Mayan temples etc. which I found very glorious!
A feature which is quite prominent in this title as opposed to previous ones is the many missions involving ship battles, which was a nice addition even though I prefer the regular game-play.
Now onto Assassin’s Creed: Rogue, which I’ve also heard a lot of positive things about!
Lastly I would like to encourage you to head over to RightOn.net for some quality reading by my friend Anton Stigermark. I assume that most of you reading this are also fans of Game of Thrones, if you for some reason have not seen the series I highly suggest that you do so, you are definitely in for a treat! In this highly interesting essay Anton discusses the political (leftist) radicalism of Daenerys Targaryen, the Mother of Dragons. https://www.righton.net/2015/11/29/enter-the-dragon/
Furthermore available on RightOn is my 5 Steps for a Glorious Physique, which proved to be quite popular: https://www.righton.net/2015/10/11/5-steps-for-a-glorious-physique/
Lastly, as per weekly basis, a beard update is due. Unfortunately the beard has not attained optimal glory yet so I will leave you with an epic screenshot of Edward Kenway (and his beard) above instead!
Sunday Summary. House of Cards Hypocrisy. Training Update. Assassin’s Creed 3. Beard Update
Posted on November 22, 2015
A quick commentary on this series (House of Cards on Netflix) is in order. I might very well make a video regarding this topic as well, in the larger sense, later on. The larger sense is the ongoing metapolitical war against Russia.
House of Cards, is an entertaining series except for the painfully and embarrassingly obvious attempts at depicting the Russians as evil. The picture above is of a meeting between Frank Underwood (the President of the USA) and his Russian counterpart. The Russian president is throughout the series portrayed as extremely unsympathetic. The main focus of the “evilness” of the Russians is in regards to homosexuality; to conclude thesub- plot in a single sentence: the Russians are mean towards homosexuals.
This leads me to the point of writing this little text. Is it not hilarious that USA and its media (Hollywood), places guilt upon Russia for what the degenerate West believes should be “rights”. Russia is not anti-gay. Not allowing gay-propaganda aimed at children is in no way shape or form anti-gay. That is just common decency, I think most people who have spent more than 5 minutes thinking about this can agree.
What is truly repulsing and should be the cause for uproar, however, is how homosexuals are treated in the decadent and twisted state of Saudi Arabia. Or how women, not allowed to drive cars, are treated. One does not need to analyse the Saudi Arabian society particularly extensively to realise what manner of freedom and rights its citizens have. Yet, this is not something that is seen as a problem. The reason for this is simple: Saudi Arabia and the United States (and of course Israel) are allies, and that explains it all.
Lastly, while we are on the subject: In the series Clare, the First Lady, refers to Iran as a terrorist state, which obviously is hypocritical beyond belief coming from the First Lady of the United States, but that is obvious and needs no further elaboration!
Now, onto the training part of things. I have had a few weeks of lower intensity in my training, due to symptoms of overtraining. Thus I haven’t been able to progress the way I wanted. I have progressed in the technique department of the MMA training though, in addition to some progress in terms of cardio. So I have lost some ground but also gained ground!
There is a fine line between pushing through tiredness and not going into the territory of overtraining, knowing myself I am more prone to train harder than I should rather than the opposite. This is the reason for the lack of any exceptional feats of strength as of late, this has also led to a lack of training videos in the last weeks. My reasoning previously in terms of epic training videos has always been to showcase new personal best in the videos, not 1 Repetition Max (1RM) per se, but progression in either of the main lifts. And since I haven’t really made any progress I haven’t felt inclined to make that many training videos.
With this said I am experienced enough to realise that a few weeks of lower intensity is not the whole world. I will be back stronger, no doubt about that at all!
I have now played through Assassin’s Creed 3. And before I elaborate further it is in order that I aim a thank you to all true friends who commented on the Facebook post I made some time back where I asked if it was worth playing through, although the majority did not recommend playing it, there were a good few who said that AC3 indeed was underrated and well worth playing through. Since I am a fan of the series (despite it being somewhat Culturally Marxist in some regards) I decided that to go with it and was not disappointed. It is clearly not as good as Brotherhood, Revelation or Black Flag, but not a bad game once you get through the rather long and tedious first part of the game. The main character, Connor, is not your typical hero, certainly not the charming Ezio, but interesting in his own right.
Do I recommend this game? If you have played the first Assassin’s Creed games I definitely recommend it. The primary reason I decided to play through it was because of the story, just as I want to read all of the books in a series I wanted to have played the whole story in Assassin’s Creed. On the other hand, if you are more of a power-gamer and just want to try a game, I suggest that you directly to Black Flag, which I have begun playing, which is a very good game (I have enjoyed it greatly thus far).
Lastly, a beard update. Although the picture above isn’t taken recently (it is taken in May), it is a good representation of the beard’s current status. Furthermore I have decided to not shave the sides, it will still be a Boromir-style beard but will perhaps looks a bit more even throughout the face. Who knows! Either way it is still a good few weeks before it looks decent!
